SNSD’s comeback causes a delay in the comeback of other artists

SNSD’s delayed comeback didn’t just upset fans; it’s also thrown the comeback plans of other artists into complete disarray.

Many had planned their comeback dates to avoid being overshadowed by SNSD, but now that the date’s up in the air, they all confessed that they have to re-adjust their schedules.

A representative of one artist who was originally scheduled to make a comeback at the end of this month said, “With SNSD suddenly delaying their comeback, we’re all worried about whether it will overlap with ours. It’s more beneficial for us on the digital charts, and gives us the chance to make headlines if there was a two week gap between their comeback and ours. It seems we’ll just have to set another date.”

Another representative added, “SNSD has made a lot of achievements overseas, and since it’s their first Korean comeback in a while, they will surely gain a lot of headlines. We’re trying to set a comeback date away from theirs, so we’re all keeping our ears open for a final date.

There are rumors that SNSD has set their comeback for the third week of October, but SM Entertainment has yet to confirm.  All of their interviews and comeback stages originally scheduled for the first week of October have been postponed.

SNSD’s Yoona models for cosmetic brand Innisfree

Curious to know how SNSD‘s Yoona maintains her baby-like skin?

Cosmetic brand Innisfree is currently advertising their new ‘honey serum’, using Yoona as their newest model/spokesperson. The photos from her newest photo shoot display just how flawless Yoona’s skin is, despite the extremely hectic and busy schedule she maintains.

Yoona personally started using the serum weeks before the actual photo shoot, and an insider informed that the singer arrived an hour early to her shoot to carefully apply the serum on her face.

A representative from the brand remarked, “There’s practically no reason to alter her photos because her skin is absolutely amazing.”

All-natural cosmetic brand Innisfree officially launched the promotions for their new honey serum just in time for the autumn season, when women tend to complain about their dry skin. The serum is made with a honey that is produced in Jeju Island, and can only be harvested once a year in April. More than 40% of this serum is this valuable honey and it helps give the skin moisture as well as elasticity. The serum collects the water in the skin to give the skin a healthy glow, and moisturizes even the driest of skin without giving it an overly-greasy feel.

SNSD’s Seohyun and Super Junior’s Donghae to sing for ’2011 Asia Song Festival’

On October 6th, the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange (KOFICE) revealed thatSNSD‘s Seohyun and Super Junior‘s Donghae will be singing the theme song for the ‘2011 Asia Song Festival‘ together at Daegu Stadium.

The theme song is titled “Dreams come True“, and is said to be a cheerful melody which anyone could follow along with easily.

The two singers will be performing at the event, free of charge.  Furthermore, a digital single of the song will be released on the 11th and proceeds will be donated to UNICEF.  The funds will be used to treat children who are suffering in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, and Djibouti.

Interestingly enough, the two idols will be appointed as UNICEF envoys on the 11th at Changseong-Dong, Seoul.  This is a notable feat, as only those who have a respectable reputation are appointed as goodwill representatives.

Seohyun, who’s already worked with UNICEF in the past for the “Help Children in Africa” project, shared, “I’m thankful and honored that my skills can be put to use in helping the children in Africa.

Aside from SNSD and Super Junior, other artists from all over Asia will participate in the event as well, including Lee Seung GiPerfume (Japan), Peter Ho (Taiwanese), Zhou Bichang (Chinese), Tata Young (Thai), and Leo Ku (Hong Kong).
